Welcome to the page to honour our mother.

The messages below are meant to serve as a blessing to mum and they reflect the scope of her ministry as a woman of God and a sister and mother to many. As her youngest child I have had the privilege of being with my mum in different countries, in different stages of my life and from her younger years to her senior years now. Her earlier, fiery days were full of enthusiasm, laughter, energy and making her mark! She is remembered as a figure who loved and worked passionately in everything she set her hands to. She certainly even shook up a few folks along the way, but as a life-changer it was her destiny to light a fire under the seats of those in her arena. 

Mum has been the bond that has kept our family strong from the start. And despite being blessed with a core of 5 outstanding siblings and 2 excellent parents, the Jegede family recognizes Olajumoke as the heart of our home. In her later years, we have seen mum hold on to her passionate spirit and yet adopt an even gentler, guiding hand to welcome so many. She is truly a beautiful, Godly woman inside and out. God wrought a miracle in her back in 2013 and she is a living testimony that nothing is impossible with Him.  By her prayers, she has literally saved our lives in ways I cannot measure. 

We love you mum, we cherish you, we honour you and we are blessed to have been under your care for all our lives :)

Olajumoke has been the love of my life since March 1960. I also call her the wife of my love since July 1965. I praise and thank my Father for blessing me with Olajumoke.  I am committed by the grace of God to abide in Christ, to love Olajumoke as Christ loved the church and to work with her to carry out our God-given assignment.  This is to proclaim the gospel of love, empower with signs and wonders following, preach the life of faith and prepare the body of Christ for His imminent return. Blessed be the lord God who always causes us to triumph in Christ Jesus. 

Olukayode Jegede 

How well can our words describe and celebrate an indefatigable fighter and disciplinarian like MaJegs who has been an awesome blessing to our family and ministry. She is so much fun to be with, no dull moment with her. Very forthright in her relationships, loves God passionately and wishes that everyone that come in contact with her does same. A woman who is selfless in her love to see marriages and homes glorify God. 
We thank God for giving such an invaluable blessing to humanity. She impacts both children and adults wherever she comes in contact with them. She wouldn't pass without leaving a lasting good impression. MaJegs you remain an epistle in our hearts. We love and appreciate you much more; now and always. 
MaJegs, The Lord who has been your Savior, Healer, Strength, Shield and Compass from decades past, remains your Guard and Guide in greater years ahead. In Jesus Name. Amen.

MRS OLAJUMOKE JEGEDE AT 77: TRIBUTE TO A VIRTUOUS WOMAN

Knowing and interacting with Mrs Olajumoke Jegede, her husband, Professor Olukayode Jegede has been a rewarding experience for me, my wife and our family. A woman of virtue, the Proverbs 31 Woman; Mrs Jegede and my wife met first in a meeting of Cosmetologists, in Ibadan; sometime in 1983. An entrepreneur per excellence; Mrs Jegede who is professional Nurse also was one of the foremost cosmetologists in Ibadan when beauty care was in its infancy in Nigeria, bringing to bear her excellent nursing care training in the way she beautifies her hair and beauty care clients.

An excellent companion of her husband and a loving mother of all her children, Mrs Jegede also complements excellently well her husband’s religious activities, making all the efforts at her command to spread the gospel of Christ everywhere the two find themselves. They  indeed satisfy Christ’s call in Matthew 5:16 to us all as His disciples to let our light so shine before men that they may see our good work and glorify our Father who is in Heaven. My wife and I as well as all members of our entre family wish Mrs Olajumoke Jegede: an excellent and loving wife and mother; a good friend and mentor, a very happy and lovely 77th birthday in good health with God’s abundant grace for more fruitful years in the land of the living to the glory of God.  Please enjoy your day and more; to the glory of God.

Few Thoughts on your 77th Birthday:

Is is tremendous blessing to have 'Aunti' Jumoke as my cousin. She has always been there as support to me and my family (in Nigeria) for as long as I can remember and support to my children too. We thank the Lord for your life and which life has touched numerous people. 

We have come a long way 'Aunti'. 

Keep on smiling and praising your God.  

The Lord indeed is your God.

Praise God from whom all blessings flow. Praise Him for He answers the prayers of the saints. Psalm 150 says let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Words can not express my gratitude to God for sparing your life and for  disarming the rulers and authorities of the evil ones, my God made  a public example of them,hallelujah making  you  triumph over them .continue on the journey of evangelism through this great testimony Of life Aunty.
Moni and the children are ever and will continue to be grateful for your love to us during our trial times. I am  grateful for the manifestation of psalm 128 in your life Aunty your children and grand/great grand children shall surround your table, amen.
